I am rated as a multi state instructor. I believe in continuing education for both myself and students who take my courses. We can custom fit the permits to the way you travel, no extra charge. I offer in person instruction only, due to reported unreliability in obtaining a permit license through online courses.

Classes Offered

I set up classes based on interest. Classes have been held in Cook, Lake Kabetogama, Virginia, Winton and Ely.

I will customize per your request, private or semi-private classes for women, men, and mixed groups. I can accommodate all experience levels.

I will travel by arrangement, to your location. You supply the classroom and the shooting range.

We believe in excellence in the classroom and teach in a positive environment. We continue to educate ourselves to make sure we are current with all the techniques that are being taught to everyone from the FBI to civilians.

We have also continued with advanced education. We have attended a 3 day intensive course at the prestigious Gunsite Academy in Arizona firing over 600 rounds and learning law enforcement techniques in proper self defense in low and no lighting scenarios . . . as well as having to qualify on a Hogan's Alley with a mixture of bad guys and hostage no shoot scenarios.

We have taken a combined 14 hours of training from the Utah Bureau of Criminal Investigation, (Utah BCI) and we attended another prestigious academy, Front Sight Academy in Nevada. This was another intense 5 day training course of firing 800 rounds along with many hours of classroom. These are the kind of places that train FBI agents and many famous actors who go there to learn the correct way to handle firearms for real life and safe firearms handling in movies.

Minnesota Permit to Carry a Firearm

To get a permit you must successfully complete a permit course then apply in person at the county sheriff's office.

About the classes

I teach in a relaxed atmosphere. Average classroom time is 3-3 1/2 hours. I keep the classes interesting with FBI stats and real shooting scenarios.

What about the cold weather?

We have a warm classroom and the shooting staging area has portable heaters in it so the weather is not a problem!

Preparation for class

Students can either bring their own "eyes and ears", eye and ear protection, or I supply them. I also supply a handgun and ammo. It is a 22 semi automatic for students that do not have a handgun but want their permits first.

MINNESOTA & FLORIDA CONCEALED CARRY PERMIT CLASSES · New and Renewal · New shooters welcome · Women, men, mixed. 1/2-day classes cover both permits · $100 per class. Classes are held weekends and given locally. I am an Instructor certified by the St. Louis County Sheriff, & Florida Dept. of Agriculture. The class is primarily focused on getting people their permits to carry.

One on one instruction is available for students who desire to improve their shooting skills. My expertise is available for a pre-determined price per hour.

Students are welcome and encouraged to come back and shoot at my combat range upon prior arrangement.
